Efectos de los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos en las tendinopatías. Revisión sistemática

Resumen

Introducción: Los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINEs) son  comúnmente usados para el tratamiento de las tendinopatías, pero la evidencia sobre este tratamiento es escasa. Objetivo: realizar una revisión sistemática acerca de los efectos de los AINEs en las tendinopatías. Métodos: Se llevó a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica en PubMed, WOS, PEDro, Medline, Cinahl y Sport Discus. Se incluyeron un total de 13 ensayos clínicos con una calidad metodológica media de 7,15/10 en la escala PEDro.  Conclusiones: En la mayoría de los artículos se observó una mejora en el dolor y la funcionalidad con el uso de AINEs, sin diferencias estadísticas en muchos casos. Además, no se encontraron estudios que respalden la presencia de inflamación en esta patología. En conclusión, se necesitan más estudios que analicen el papel de la inflamación en la tendinopatía y el uso de AINEs.
